Merry Christmas to All!

Merry Christmas, Charlatans!

I’m calling this a Merry Christmas post but really I just wanted to show off this picture of my kids in their Christmas pajamas. JUST LOOK AT THEM!

Also, this is the closest I’ll ever get to a Christmas card. Pretend there is a plate of cookies to go along with it. Maybe these ones:

Soft Cinnamon Cookies with Maple Pecan Frosting from The Food Charlatan

Or these ones?

Nutella-Stuffed Gingerbread Cookies from The Food Charlatan

Well whatever imaginary cookies you choose, I hope you are having a fabulous day with your family today. I’m so thankful for Christmas and the spirit of goodwill it brings. And I’m so thankful for the Savior and his birth!

I also want to take a minute to say thanks to you! Thanks for reading my blog and listening to my weird stories. (Although…it takes one to know one. Just sayin.)

Look forward to my top posts from 2014 coming up in the next few days! Merry Christmas!!

  4. Truman’s antlers…I love it. And I agree, those gingerbread Nutella cookies are the stuff of sugarplum dreams. Definitely adding those to the “make every year!” list.

  5. Karen,
Merry Christmas to you and your family! I am new to your blog but really enjoy it. Re the imaginary cookies, I made the gingerbread/nutella cookies last week and gave a bunch to neighbors. They loved them. I saved quite a few for myself.

I am not conventionally religious but I do enjoy the spirit of xmas. I am with family now and having an amazing visit with my 96 year old father. We are talking and sharing like never before and I feel so blessed to be born into this family.

All the best to everyone for a happy holiday and a happy, healthy new year!

    Terence
