A while back my sister-in-law complimented the earrings I was wearing. Thanks I said. You gave them to me.

I always think it’s kind of funny when people forget stuff like that. I’m a very detail-oriented person (to a fault sometimes) so I’m pretty sure that would never happen to me.

My mom is one of the forgetful ones. Last year at Christmas she bought a pair of baseball pajamas for her friend’s son because she knew that was his favorite sport. She was totally embarrassed when her friend laughingly reminded her that she had bought the exact same pair of pajamas for him the year before, just in a different size.

You probably won’t forget this cobbler after you taste it though. It is super quick and delicious! You can make it all in one pan or separate it into cute little ramekins if you’re planning on taking pictures of them (right.) Enjoy!

Easy Sweet Cherry Cobbler

Source: Bell’alimento

1/2 cup butter
1 cup flour
1 cup sugar
1 cup milk
1 teaspoon baking powder
3 cups bing cherries, pitted
1 tablespoon flour

Place butter into 9 x 13 baking dish.* Place into oven and preheat to 350 degrees.

Into a mixing bowl whisk flour, sugar, and baking powder. Add milk and whisk together until just combined.

Once butter is melted pour mixture into baking dish.

Toss cherries with 1 tablespoon of flour. Place cherries on top. Do not stir. Bake for 40-45 minutes or until golden. Make sure it passes the toothpick test.

*If you want to do these individually, place 1 tablespoon of butter each in 8 ramekins. Melt in the oven, then put 1/3 cup batter in each dish. Distribute cherries evenly. Bake for 28-30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
